Class of 99
Well, this is my friend, Vickie Lynn. She is every bit as sweet as she
is beautiful, and she has a kind, and gentle heart. She is hard working,
and determined to do the best she can in life. She is currently serving
her country, and all of us, as a member of the U. S. Air Force. Her
dream is to one day be an artist, and I hope this, and all her dreams will
come true for her. She is the living proof to me, that my faith in the
young of today is not misplaced. Yesterday was ours, today belongs to all
of us, but tomorrow belongs to the young, and that is as it should be.
Whenever I hear someone say, these kids today are just no good, it makes
me come to a boil. Vickie Lynn, and so many of her age, in all branches
of our military are our best hope to remain a free people. So the next
time you see a young man, or young woman in military uniform, please treat
them with the respect they are due. It might be wise to just try
to get to know the young of today, you just might find that most of them
are among the finest people you will ever come to know.
